What You'll Do

• Provide full scope OB/GYN care including deliveries and gynecological surgeries
• Manage patient admissions and care in a hospital inpatient/outpatient setting
• Respond to OB/GYN emergency calls within 20-minute response time
• Collaborate with support staff including dedicated MA and practice manager
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR system
• Ensure quality care during scheduled on-call periods and holiday coverage
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and credentialing requirements

What You Need

• Active California Medical License
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Minimum of 2+ years of OB/GYN practice experience
• Ability to deliver full scope OB/GYN services including surgical procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to comply with credentialing requirements (30-60 day credentialing process)

This assignment involves providing OB/GYN emergency and delivery coverage at a community hospital in Red Bluff, CA. No NICU involvement required. The hospital is seeking reliable providers to cover scheduled shifts, primarily during nights and holidays, ensuring continuous, high-quality maternal and gynecological care for approximately 16-20 patients daily.
