\n Position Overview:
\n The OB Laborist will provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients in the inpatient hospital setting. This role is essential in delivering consistent, quality care and responding to emergent OB/GYN needs, including patients presenting in Labor & Delivery.

\n

You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team of physicians and subspecialists, including Perinatology and Urogynecology with access to full hospital resources and strong backup support.

\n Key Responsibilities:

• \n

  Provide inpatient obstetrical care only (Separate GYN-ER panel), including triage, labor management, and delivery

\n
• \n

  Respond to emergencies in Labor & Delivery
  

\n
• \n

  Collaborate closely with hospital staff, including nurses, residents (if applicable), and consulting physicians

\n
• \n

  Ensure timely and thorough documentation in EMR systems

\n
• \n

  Contribute to the continuity and quality of care for hospitalized OB/GYN patients

\n

\n Qualifications:

\n

\n
• \n

  Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

\n
• \n

  Active California Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start)

\n
• \n

  Experience managing high-risk obstetrical patients

\n
• \n

  Strong clinical judgment and decision-making in fast-paced settings

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

\n
• \n

  Commitment to team-based, patient-centered care

\n

\n Schedule & Compensation:

\n

\n

  Shifts include weekday, weeknight and weekend coverage

\n
• \n

  Flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, or per diem available)
