Operations Assembly TechnicianSafely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and proceduresOperate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established standard operating proceduresAssist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work areaMaintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspect parts, components and subassembliesRecognize and solve minor problems that arisePerform any necessary material handling requirements of the jobPerform other duties that may be assignedAbility to perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimalsStrong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvementStrong attention to detailDesire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledgeAbility to read and understand procedure, routers and instructionFlexibility in work assignmentsDemonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to changePrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walkingMust be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours dailyMust be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work daily, weekly overtime and weekend as requiredPay starts at $19.00 plus shift premium totaling $21.50Eligible for annual bonusesHowmet Aerospace Inc.
