Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage in a variety of therapeutic practices, providing client-centered services. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and family therapy sessions to address concerns such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflict, and communication issues.
\n
• Facilitating workshops or group interventions focused on conflict resolution, parenting, and family dynamics.
\n
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that meet the specific needs of clients, while utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, adhering to organizational policies and state regulations.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress and therapeutic strategies.
\n
• Staying current with relevant laws, ethical guidelines, and advancements in family therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will revolve around serving a diverse clientele, including both adult and child/adolescent populations. You will address a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:

• Emotional and psychological challenges related to family dynamics in blended families.

• Adjustment difficulties associated with divorce or separation.
\n
• Therapeutic needs arising from physical or psychological trauma, and handling medical issues impacting emotional health.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Valid and active license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and adhering to best practices in therapeutic settings.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experience and skills are preferred:
