\n \nDuck Creek Business Analyst
\nseeking a highly skilled Duck Creek Business Analyst with strong Property Casualty PC Insurance domain expertise to support the analysis design and implementation of Duck Creek solutions The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders product owners architects and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable Duck Creek platform solutions
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\nGather analyze document and validate business and functional requirements
\nConduct workshops and requirement discovery sessions with business stakeholders
\nTranslate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories
\nSupport the implementation of Duck Creek Policy Billing and Claims modules
\nCreate process flows use cases business rules and requirements documentation
\nCollaborate with Product Owners and development teams during Agile delivery cycles
\nParticipate in backlog refinement sprint planning reviews and retrospectives
\nSupport testing activities including SIT UAT and defect management
\nAnalyze system impacts and identify process improvement opportunities
\nFacilitate communication between business users and technical teams
\nEnsure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
\nProvide production support and assist with post implementation enhancements
\n \nRequired Skills
\nStrong experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance industry
\nHandson experience with Duck Creek Policy Administration Billing or Claims
\nKnowledge of Property Casualty PC Insurance processes
\nExperience in requirement elicitation gap analysis and documentation
\nExpertise in Agile Scrum methodologies
\nExperience creating user stories process flows and acceptance criteria
\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills
\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
\nExperience with JIRA Azure DevOps or similar Agile management tools
\n \nPreferred Skills
\nDuck Creek platform implementation experience
\nUnderstanding of Duck Creek Author Product Studio and Configuration tools
\nExposure to Duck Creek On Demand DCOD
\nKnowledge of Guidewire or other core insurance platforms
\nExperience with APIs integrations and data mapping
\nFamiliarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments
\n \nQualifications
\nBachelors degree in Business Information Technology Computer Science or related field
\n7 to 10 years of overall IT Business Analysis experience
\n3 to 5 years of Duck Creek implementation experience
\nStrong knowledge of Insurance policy lifecycle and underwriting processes
