Position Overview

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join our growing employed medical group at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Maine.

This opportunity offers a stable, hospital-employed model with strong administrative support, established referral networks, and the ability to focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive adult primary care services

• Dagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions

• Perform preventive care and wellness visits

• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine

• Eligible for unrestricted Maine medical license

• DEA certification

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
