The Insulation Man- Install Team Member

Basic construction or carpentry experience a plus but anyone willing to learn a new trade is encouraged to apply.

Full-Time (Monday- Friday) including overtime most weeks

MUST be available from 6AM- 6PM.

Compensation: $405K-$50K/year. Review at 3 & 6 months, after that annually

Candidates will be expected to:

• Have the desire and ability to work as a team to provide the best experience for our customers.
• Physical stamina- work days average 8-10 hours in attics, crawlspaces and outdoors which means working in tight spaces with both extreme cold and extreme heat 
• Ability to kneel, lift 50-70 lbs, and climb ladders with tools 
• Demonstrates the ability to solve problems
• Communicate effectively with fellow team members, management and customers
• Carries themselves in a professional manner
• Valid drivers license- Motor Vehicle Report will be checked prior to start date
• Drug free work environment- including random drug pool
• Follows OSHA standards for safety compliance
• Keeps the warehouse, vehicles and equipment clean, organized and in good working condition
• Keeps accurate daily records for inventory, hours and maintenance concerns
• Possess your own tools
• Perform basic carpentry skills as needed to complete the job.

The Insulation Man remains locally owned and operated since 1975. We were the first Home Performance and Spray Foam Contractor in the Southern Tier. We provide effective building envelope solutions for new construction and retrofits of older homes and businesses within an 90 mile radius of Binghamton, NY. We offer technical assistance with home performance issues concerning moisture, heat loss, and indoor air quality. We utilize diagnostic equipment and decades of experience to find problems and recommend solutions. Once the problems are found we use spray foam, cellulose, mineral wool and other materials to repair faults in the building envelope. We work closely we our subcontractors to repair or replace HVAC equipment and distribution systems, windows, and doors.
