Shipping Clerk
Brady Corporation is seeking a Shipping Clerk that will be responsible for performing daily order fulfillment, scheduling/arranging carrier pickups, and ensuring completeness, accuracy and quality of all products packed and shipped. The Shipping Clerk will be successful by following operational procedures with high attention to detail.
Responsibilities include:
- Fulfilling orders by picking and packaging all requested items.
- Coordinating freight shipments by scheduling pick-ups and preparing goods to be shipped.
- Processing shipping documents including packing slips, commercial invoices, and Bill of Lading.
- Verifying and reviewing shipping instructions, regulations, and any other special instructions.
- Assisting with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Operating a forklift to safely move goods and materials.
- Maintaining inventory of shipping supplies by ordering supplies when needed.
- Review Production Schedule for system orders and schedule appropriately.
- Prepare and maintain international documentation as needed.
- Performing other duties as needed.
