Software Asset Manager

Alcor Solutions is seeking to hire a Technical Consultant for the ITOM Practice. As our Technical Consultant BSA, you will interface with the customer and create business Documents, prepare Business Requirement Specifications for ITOM and Cloud automation teams. You should have exposure to ITOM, Automation, AWS, and monitoring concepts. You are not expected to code but need to understand the concepts of ITOM, infrastructure, and cloud environments. This is a remote opportunity.

Job Description

Responsible for delivering implementations focused on IT Operations and Asset Management leveraging IT Datacenter technologies, SAM, DevOps, and cloud initiatives with ServiceNow applications that focus on service modeling, discovery, event management, and cloud management.

Contribute to and maintain a showcase of ITOM and ITAM solution configurations, stories, and test use cases created on the ServiceNow platform.

Elicit, document, and maintain requirements that enable Solution developers to deliver the value of IT Operations Management on the ServiceNow platform.

Strong alignment with architect and engineering teams on delivery standards.

Provide ITOM and Asset mentoring and training to customers, peers, and others through opportunities to promote digital transformation.

Demonstrate the ITOM products, to prospects and existing customers, both onsite and remote.

Lead workshop sessions collaborating with clients and developers to ensure requirements are met and ensure integrations support CMDB and asset integrity.

EXPERTISE

3-5 years Subject matter expertise and hands-on navigation of ServiceNow ITOM applications.

Strong analytic, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong business analyst/process consultant skills.

Understanding of, and ability to adapt to, both waterfall and Agile project methodologies using stories and sprints.

Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITOM: Discovery, Event Management, Service Mapping, and CMP.

Experience supporting testing, requirements, documentation of infrastructure or cloud technology environments.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact positively with a variety of stakeholders daily.

Ability to write technical stories to capture technical requirements, assist in sprint planning and agile board tracking.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, work in a team environment and follow written policies and procedures.

Technical understanding and business acumen related to infrastructure devices, network, and cloud resources and services.

ITIL V3 Foundation certification
