Tractor Trailer Mechanics
Specialized Transportation Services Inc
Major Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Demonstrate proficiency in the repair and diagnosis of (with some assistance) Diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC systems, steering systems, ad Electronics (ECU, ECM, sensors, etc) Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled units Perform all levels of preventative maintenance services Maintain work area appearance and safety Use both hand and power tools to include screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to insure proper operating conditions Perform trailer repairs to the floor, side panels, suspension, brakes, tires, and electrical system Qualifications: 2-4 years of practical experience with tractor trailer maintenance High school diploma or equivalent Vocational/Technical or certification preferred Proficiency in the use of shop tools Valid drivers license required, CDL is a plus Ability to work in non climate controlled areas Submission to a background investigation and drug screen #J-18808-Ljbffr Specialized Transportation Services Inc
