LPN Full Time Nights 8pm - 8am$1,500 sign on bonusJob DescriptionAs a member of the interdisciplinary team (IDT) within any of the clinical areas, the LPN is responsible for performing direct patient care and medication administration under the supervision of the RN Case Manager and within the LPN scope of licensure in accordance with the Florida State Board of Nursing standards.PurposeTo perform a combination of skilled professional nursing tasks and provide palliative and supportive care to the patient and family unit under the supervision of the RN Case Manager according to Florida's Nurse Practice Act.QualificationsCurrent and active LPN license in the state of Florida.Two (2) years' experience in patient care, either in an acute care setting, long-term care or home health agency. Hospice experience preferred.Must be Certified Hospice and Palliative Licensed Nurse (CHPLN) within 12 months.Knowledge regarding application of the nursing process, including data collection, assisting with the planning phase intervention and evaluation of nursing care.Must be computer literate.Must have a current and valid Florida driver's license with current auto insurance.Must hold a current (BLS) CPR certification.Attendance is a condition of employment.ExpectationsProvide program development strategies for Treasure Coast Hospice, in an organized, routine capacity that will enable the cohesion of team developments.
