About the Role  

The Production Pastry Lead oversees daily pastry production, ensuring consistent quality, food safety, and efficient execution. This role leads the pastry team, supports production planning, and contributes to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

What You Will Do

• Lead daily pastry production, ensuring consistent execution of recipes, processes, and production standards
• Support and develop team members through clear expectations, coaching, and feedback
• Maintain product quality, consistency, and presentation across all production output
• Plan and adjust production based on demand, sales trends, and seasonal needs
• Support ordering, inventory management, and waste reduction practices
• Partner with Production Leadership to ensure alignment, communication, and execution
• Address production challenges quickly to maintain workflow and minimize disruption

• Production is consistent, timely, and aligned with established standards
• Products meet expectations for quality, appearance, and freshness
• Team members are supported, accountable, and working effectively across shifts
• Production plans align with demand, minimizing waste and out-of-stocks
• Workspaces are clean, organized, and meet all food safety requirements 

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in bakery, pastry, or food production environments
• Demonstrated ability to lead or support a team
• Strong understanding of food safety and production standards
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with specialty pastry or cake decorating preferred
• Clear communication and a collaborative approach
