Manage all aspects of the wood‑burning oven environment. Prep the ovens for business. Cook pizzas according to the standards of DeSano. Manage the fire throughout the shift. Close the ovens at the end of the shift. Properly handle and dispose of coals. Manage the wood. Ensure sanitary practices are followed throughout the operation. Keep the area clean. Duties as assigned. Skills / Experience / Requirements Experience in the production of pizza, preferably Napoletana. Experience working with a wood‑burning oven preferred. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Detail oriented. Must have the physical stamina and coordination to work in a fast‑paced environment. Good verbal communication skills. Stand for long periods of time, bend and operate appliances.
