Were hiring a Healthcare Customer Service Representative to support patients at a busy Clinton Township location. This position is approximately 50% patient/phone interaction and 50% administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in person and over the phone
- Schedule appointments and coordinate clinical staff schedules
- Verify insurance benefits, authorizations, and referrals
- Process and track patient orders
- Maintain medical records and documentation
- Provide compassionate service to patients of all ages
What Were Looking For:
- 1+ years of recent Healthcare experience in a similar position
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, HAP, Blue Cross, or DME is a strong plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm with frustrated or stressed patients
- Strong computer, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Clemens, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
