The Human Resources Generalist partners with managers and employees at various levels to provide HR support and solutions for four manufacturing sites as well as our Corporate headquarters.

Specific areas of influence include talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation/salary administration, training and development, compliance, and special projects. Interfaces with plant and department management in assuring the delivery of all Human Resources initiatives.

Key accountabilities

Employee Relations/Performance Management - Consult/coach managers as they handle performance issues and talent development needs. Management of Employee Relations issues, conduct investigations and recommend solutions.
• Support HR leadership team - HR research, project support, reporting/analytics, and champion HR initiatives.
• Training - HR orientation and facilitate other HR and Company training sessions as needed.
• Recruiting - full lifecycle support. Will partner with the RPO recruiting team to guide selection process within assigned areas.

Required Skills:
• Bachelors in HR, Business Admin, Behavioral Sciences, Org Development.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Prior experience working in Plant HR or other applicable HR role in a manufacturing environment required.
• Experience must include recruiting, ER, performance management, and training and development.
• Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS, ATS).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong presentation and people skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to work effectively with all levels of employees.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees.

Preferred:
• PHR Certification.

Skills : Knowledge and application of current HR trends, best practices, and compliance issues.
