Plant Operations Mechanic - FT - Nights - JDCH

Summary Responsible for routine and complex inspection, maintenance, repair, alteration and installation and monitoring of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, emergency generation and water distribution systems. Responsibilities Support construction and project initiatives through scope development sketches, field assessment and document review to ensure compliance and specific facility building standards are met. Oversee contractors performing service work in terms of quality to the Memorial Healthcare System standards, compliance and workmanship. Actively mentor peers on the basics of refrigeration, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls work focusing on safety and compliance requirements. Manage and interface systems with building automation software applications. Able to read schematic diagrams and blueprints to perform high level maintenance and electrical installations. Perform routine inspections and monitors HVAC systems and controls. Diagnose and correct malfunctions as necessary to ensure compliant environment for temperature, humidity and pressure standards. Repair, install, and maintain refrigeration, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls.
