1. 6+ years of software development experience. Hands-on expertise with application design, software development, and automated testing.
2. Strong programming knowledge in SQL, Pyspark, Data processing
3. Hands-on experience in Big Data technologies (Spark, Hive, MapReduce and Hbase)
4. Understanding and experience with UNIX / Shell / Perl / Python scripting
5. Database query optimization and indexing
6. Web services design and implementation using REST / SOAP and Java is a plus
7. Experience collaborating with the business to drive requirements/Agile story analysis.
8. Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate
9. Bonus skills: Machine learning/data mining and Object-oriented design and coding
