HFE HR Intern Job Description This internship provides hands‑on experience supporting Human Resources operations, including recruiting, employee engagement initiatives, and internal HR communications within a fast‑paced corporate environment. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support across day‑to‑day HR activities, supporting various Technology Centers in the Sugar Land area Assist with the recruitment process, including posting, interviewing, and onboarding Assist with the administration of culture programs and initiatives Assist in organizing special events, such as center‑wide celebrations and recognitions Provide coordination and administration of the employee recognition program Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed Maintain high level of confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR policies and data privacy guidelines Conduct employee information meetings on employment policies. Participate in initiatives aimed continuously improving HR performance and employee motivation. Qualifications Must be based in Houston, TX or surrounding areas and commit to a 6-month internship Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and other departments Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding administrative, organizational, and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Education Requirements Sophomore or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year university or college with a degree in human resources, business administration, industrial psychology, or a closely related field.
