Accounting Associate- Accounts Receivable

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented addition to our finance team. This position reports directly to the Controller and works closely with Sales Managers and Sales staff, providing valuable cross-functional exposure across the organization. This role will have a specific emphasis in supporting an Accounts Receivable initiative to collect past due balances from customers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Accounts Receivable initiative to collect past due balances from customers.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers and Sales staff to provide financial insights.
• Assist in general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance financial operations.
• Utilize strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Communications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative in-office environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting or Business is strongly preferred.
• Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ballwin, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
