Accounts payable clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming invoices within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in basic accounting principles and a keen eye for detail. You do not need prior experience with our specific payment software, as comprehensive, hands-on training will be provided to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities Invoice Management: Receive, review, and accurately sort a high volume of incoming daily invoices to ensure proper routing and timely payment. Data Entry: Accurately key invoice data and financial information into our internal payment system. Daily Reconciliation: Perform daily balancing of all keyed inputs to verify accuracy, identify discrepancies, and resolve entry errors promptly. Continuous Learning: Actively participate in provided training sessions to master the company's proprietary payment system and internal accounting procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Education: A High School diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Accounts Payable experience is required, specifically within a high-volume processing environment. Certifications: No specialized financial licenses or certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are required for this role. Skills: data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while meeting daily deadlines.

salary: $23.27 - $23.28 per hour
