Als Payroll Administrator bij de City of Creve Coeur zorg je voor nauwkeurige en efficiënte salarisverwerking voor zowel de stad als het West Central Dispatch Center. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de tweewekelijkse loonafdracht, maandelijkse afstemming en naleving van federale en staatsrechtelijke regelgeving. Tweewekelijkse salarissen verwerken door tijdstaten controleren, nieuwe medewerkers toevoegen en salariswijzigingen in het systeem invoeren; maandelijks overuurrapporten genereren voor politie en administratie Betalingen voor alle benefitgebieden controleren en voorbereiden, facturen snel verwerken en vakantie- en ziektedagstanden per kwartaal beoordelen Kwartaallijkse salarisbelastingen en werkloosheidsverzekeringen samenstellen, inclusief 941 formulieren en bijdrage- en loonrapporten voor werkloosheid Jaarafstemming uitvoeren, inclusief W-2's, 1094- en 1095-formulieren, en deze op tijd naar werknemers en de IRS verzenden Salarigeschiedenissen voorbereiden voor pensioenberekeningen Als back-up diensten verlenen aan de receptie, waaronder oproepen aannemen, post verspreiden en betalingen verwerken De jaarlijkse werkschadeverzekeringsaudit coördineren en werkschaderapportages verwerken en archiveren Overige projecten uitvoeren op aanwijzing van de Finance Director Wat neem je mee? Middelbare schooldiploma of equivalent plus minimaal drie jaar progressief verantwoordelijke ervaring in een gerelateerd veld Bachelor-graad in accounting of vergelijkbaar veld is een voordeel; kennis van Microsoft Excel en salarissoftware eveneens Salariscertificatie of het vermogen deze snel na indiensttreding te behalen is vereist Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk, en vermogen meerdere taken tegelijk af te handelen Vermogen effectief samen te werken en zelfstandig te functioneren; goed inzicht in financiële administratie Wat bieden we?
