Payroll Specialist

As our Payroll Specialist , you will play a critical role in ensuring our employee-owners are paid accurately and on time. You will support payroll processing, certified payroll requirements, payroll records, and employee payroll questions with accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent service. Your Impact Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule. Prepare and submit certified payroll reports for applicable projects. Review timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies with employees, supervisors, and project teams. Maintain payroll records and employee payroll data while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Assist with payroll tax reporting, garnishments, deductions, and other payroll-related transactions. Respond to employee payroll questions and provide timely, service-oriented support. Support audits and reporting requirements by providing payroll documentation as needed. Serve as backup support for payroll-related systems and processes. Collaborate with Accounting, Human Resources, and project teams to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency. Assist with additional accounting and administrative functions as needed. Who You Are Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2+ years of payroll administration experience preferred. Certified payroll experience is preferred. Experience in construction, union payroll, or multi-state payroll environments is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and applicable regulations. Strong data entry and numerical accuracy skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Ability to identify discrepancies, perform research, and resolve issues effectively. Experience with Viewpoint or similar payroll/accounting software is preferred. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Why Guarantee?
