Payroll Specialist

Description Our client is seeking a Payroll Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing exceptional support to employees and maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. Key Responsibilities Process payroll accurately and on schedule for employees Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, earnings, deductions, and taxes Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Assist with payroll tax reporting, reconciliations, and year-end processing Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations Partner with HR and Accounting to support employee changes and payroll reporting Assist with payroll process improvements and other accounting or HR projects as needed Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred 2+ years of payroll processing experience Knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and payroll best practices Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Excel Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality Additional Highlights Hybrid schedule with the opportunity to work from home one day per week after training Growing organization with excellent long-term career growth opportunities Monthly employee recognition activities and a collaborative team culture #J-18808-Ljbffr
