ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

JTC is looking for a Business Development and Marketing Assistant, based in New York, to support the Senior BD & Marketing Manager in the delivery of marketing and business development activities across JTC's US offices. This role is well suited to a highly organized and commercially aware individual seeking to develop a career in marketing within a global professional services firm.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Support the execution of all US marketing initiatives aligned with JTC's business development and client engagement objectives.
• Assist in producing high-quality proposals, presentations, collateral and other client-facing materials for the US.
• Coordinate updates to marketing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand standards.
• Support the promotion of US thought leadership pieces, insights, events and campaigns through digital and email channels.
• Assist with the planning and delivery of webinars, conferences, sponsorships and client events across the US.
• Help maintain CRM records, mailing lists, campaign reports and marketing activity trackers using our CRM system, Salesforce.
• Support with marketing administrative tasks, including making sure that invoices are processed promptly and documents are correctly filed.
• Conduct research on target markets, industry developments, competitors and client opportunities as required.
• Ensure all activity reflects JTC's high professional standards, brand positioning and client-focused approach.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in marketing, communications, business or similar preferred.
• Previous experience in a marketing, business development or communications support role would be an advantage.
• Strong written communication and proofreading skills.
• High attention to detail and strong document formatting ability.
• Effective time management and ability to work across multiple projects.
• Competence in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM and digital marketing tools is beneficial, as is an interest in using AI as an efficient work tool.
• Professional, adaptable and service-oriented mindset.

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
