Descripción del puesto:
Realiza tareas de mantenimiento del edificio y los terrenos; lleva a cabo reparaciones e instalaciones de mantenimiento general; y realiza auditorías de seguridad programadas del equipo relacionado con la seguridad en todas las instalaciones.
Responsabilidades principales:
- Garantizar que las instalaciones del edificio estén en buen estado de funcionamiento y cumplan con las expectativas
- Realizar instalaciones o reparaciones generales, incluyendo, entre otras cosas, fontanería, iluminación (interior y exterior), pintura y carpintería general
- Reparar diariamente las rejillas de cocción y las carretillas para garantizar su disponibilidad para la producción
- Realizar y documentar inspecciones semanales de las estaciones de lavado de ojos y efectuar las reparaciones necesarias
- Realizar y documentar inspecciones mensuales de los extintores y la iluminación de emergencia, efectuando las reparaciones necesarias
- Mantener un entorno de trabajo seguro y limpio cumpliendo con los procedimientos, normas y reglamentos
- Mantener las aceras libres de nieve y hielo, y mantener las salidas de emergencia asegurándose de que sean accesibles
- Realizar otras tareas que se le asignen
Requisitos:
- Graduado de secundaria o equivalente
- Capacidad para hablar, leer y escribir en inglés; se valorará el bilingüismo (español)
- Competencia en fontanería, electricidad, pintura, montaje y reparaciones
- Permiso de conducir estatal válido
- Disponibilidad para trabajar horas extras y fines de semana según sea necesario
- Se valorará entre 3 y 5 años de experiencia relacionada con el mantenimiento de edificios
- Se valorará el conocimiento de las normativas GMP, HACCP y del USDA
Requisitos físicos
- Capacidad para levantar más de 18 kg de forma habitual
- Capacidad para soportar temperaturas extremas
- Capacidad para manejar una variedad de herramientas manuales y eléctricas de forma frecuente y diaria
- Capacidad para trepar, agacharse, arrodillarse y gatear ocasionalmente para realizar el mantenimiento de diversos equipos
Este es un puesto sindicalizado y conlleva las prestaciones que ofrece el sindicato, una vez completado el periodo de prueba de 90 días. Las prestaciones incluyen: seguro médico, oftalmológico y dental, así como una semana de vacaciones pagadas tras un año de empleo.
