Marketing Assistant

GenerationAll is a nonprofit organization dedicated to drastically minimizing the generational impact of trauma, specifically sexual violence through awareness, healing for survivors and their families, and advocacy. To learn more about our mission, programs, and advocacy, visit: Position Overview We're looking for a passionate and creative Marketing Assistant to join our team part-time (15-20 hours per week). This person will work directly with GenerationAll's Marketing Director to support day to day social media management, digital storytelling, event assistance, and community outreach. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and deeply committed to using marketing as a tool for social change. Pay TBD depending on experience. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing and scheduling GenerationAll's social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok) - 3 to 5 posts per week Design digital materials for social media and our online forum, The PortAll, in Canva or other design platforms that align with GenerationAll's brand guidelines 3-5 posts per week on The PortAll Support in writing engaging captions Monitor social media engagement and track analytics for performance insights Help coordinate digital campaigns around events, initiatives, and storytelling projects Collaborate on creative strategies to increase community awareness and engagement Attend and assist with planning GenerationAll 1-4 fundraising events in Salt Lake City and surrounding areas as needed Coordinating monthly GenerationAll book club events Must-Have Qualifications Experience using Canva or other design platforms for professional design and content creation Experience managing or assisting with social media accounts (brand, organization, or personal project) Strong understanding of brand consistency and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Passion for nonprofit work, advocacy, and community impact Willingness and ability to travel to Salt Lake City 2 days per month for team meetings and events Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Basic knowledge of social media analytics or scheduling tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, etc.) Photography and video editing skills Experience writing copy for storytelling or cause-based organizations Background with nonprofit space What You'll Gain Hands-on experience assisting with marketing, events, and social media for a mission-driven nonprofit Mentorship from GenerationAll's Marketing Director Opportunities to contribute creatively to meaningful campaigns #J-18808-Ljbffr Generation All
