Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to the specific needs of the department, adhering to the standards of practice relevant to the state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and other care team members, the RN offers individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care based on established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." The RN acts as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to enhance patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in status.
• Carry out procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as directed by medical providers, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of care in patient records.
• Deliver exceptional care by promptly responding to patient requests and proactively anticipating their needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage the quality of care, coordinating and customizing holistic treatment plans that support recovery.
• Facilitate continuity of care by acting as a liaison between healthcare providers and community support systems for specialized patient groups.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training must be completed within 90 days of starting employment.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Diploma in Nursing.

Working Conditions

• No travel is required for this position.
• No prior experience is necessary.
