Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

**Job Description:**This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on heavy mobile equipment to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with the installation and repair of various systems and equipment on large mobile equipment.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Perform preventive maintenance tasks on heavy mobile equipment, including wheel loaders, haul trucks, and other large machinery, according to established schedules and procedures.* Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and system failures, and perform corrective maintenance and repairs in a timely and effective manner.* Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy mobile equipment.* Inspect equipment for defects, wear, and damage, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.* Operate a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment inspections, and repairs.* Document all maintenance activities into CMMS system* Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.* Assist in the management of spare parts inventory, ensuring that critical parts are readily available.* Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and emergency response drills.* Maintain a clean and organized work area.* Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance and Automation Manager.**Qualifications and Skills:*** Technical degree in Heavy Construction equipment, Diesel mechanics, a related field, or equivalent experience.* 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance* Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control diagrams, and technical manuals.* Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing automated and mechanical systems* Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Basic computer proficiency for trouble shooting and documentation.* Ability to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications**Minimum Requirements:****Education:** High school diploma or GED**Experience:** 2+ years of experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance**Systems:** CMMS**Cambria Success Factors:*** High attention to detail* Reliable and punctual* Direct communication* Sense of urgency in completing work* Capable of multitasking* Work well both independently and with a team* Self-motivated**Physical Requirements:*** Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings* Lift up to 60 lbs.* Push/pull 100 lbs.* Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks* Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria* Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises* Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions* Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift* Bend over multiple times throughout shift**Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:*** Steel toed boots* Hearing Protection* Safety glasses* Cut-proof gloves* Hard hat* Respirator* Latex gloves* Face shield* High visibility vest* Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)Cambria offers a competitive benefits package that encompasses Health and Dental Insurance, Paid Time Off, 7 paid Holidays , 401(k) plus matching, Discretionary Profit Sharing, Flexible Spending Account; Life, Supplemental Life, and Disability Insurance; Referral Program, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Discount and Professional Development Assistance.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
