Project Architect

Position: Project Architect Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Job Id: 2420 # of Openings: 1 Project Architect Location: Grand Rapids Employment Type: Full-Time For over 70 years Fishbeck has been building. As a 100% employee-owned firm, every team member has a stake in what we build together-our work, our reputation, and our future. Now we need to add a Project Managerto help us keep building. Working with our Architectural team, you will collaborate with a variety of multidisciplinary professionals on several different projects. What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the design team during programming and conceptual phases.
• Prepare design development and construction documents.
• Coordinate with in-house engineers and outside consultants.
• Develop architectural technical specifications.
• Lead construction administration effort including observation, RFI and submittal review.
• Assist with departmental duties such as updating technical standards and mentoring of entry level architectural staff.

What We're Looking For

• Master of Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture Degree from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience, preferred.
• Licensure preferred.
• Experienced in developing projects using Revit.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and BSD Spec Link is a bonus.
• Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, and strong organizational skills.
• Very detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible.
• Ability to work well with others under demanding deadline situations.
