We are looking for Solution Architect to join our technical team at initech Global. This is a FULL-TIME position.

***Position is on-site (Monday- Thurday) ***

A senior strategic role driving enterprise architecture, cloud-native transformation, AI integration, and technology alignment with long-range business objectives.

The IT Solution Architect will serve as a principal technical leader responsible for overseeing the enterprise application landscape, driving cloud-native and AI-enabled growth, and aligning the technology environment with evolving business objectives. This role bridges executive strategy and technical execution — partnering with business and IT leadership to define solution blueprints, evaluate emerging technologies (including generative AI and agentic systems), and architect resilient, scalable platforms. The architect will also lead the design of integration frameworks to support future acquisitions, organic growth, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Architecture Leadership: Define and govern end-to-end solution architecture across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments, ensuring alignment with business strategy and IT roadmaps.
• AI & Emerging Technology Integration: Evaluate, prototype, and architect solutions incorporating generative AI, machine learning pipelines, and agentic systems to unlock measurable business value.
• Cloud-Native Transformation: Lead the design of microservices, containerized workloads, and serverless architectures across multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), applying FinOps practices to optimize cost and performance.
• Platform & DevSecOps Enablement: Establish platform engineering standards, CI/CD pipeline architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) patterns, and integrated security practices (shift-left, zero-trust).
• Data Architecture: Design enterprise data architecture aligned with modern principles — data mesh, data fabric, and lakehouse patterns — to support analytics, AI/ML, and operational workloads.
• Integration & API Strategy: Define API-first and event-driven integration frameworks to connect disparate systems, support M&A activity, and enable composable application ecosystems.
• Executive Engagement: Partner with C-suite and IT leadership to understand business priorities, translate them into architectural strategies, and communicate complex technical concepts in accessible terms.
• Proof of Concept & Innovation: Lead PoC efforts from ideation through execution; maintain a forward-looking perspective on technology trends and their applicability to business problems.
• Governance & Documentation: Produce solution blueprints, architecture decision records (ADRs), and technical reference architectures; enforce architecture review processes and standards compliance.

Required experience:

• Years of progressive experience in solution, enterprise, or technical architecture roles, with demonstrated delivery of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
• Proven track record designing and implementing  cloud-native architecture across AWS cloud platform is a must; hands-on experience with multi-cloud and hybrid strategies is nice to have.
• Experience architecting and deploying  AI/ML or Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments, with the ability to assess fit, risk, and ROI of emerging AI capabilities.
• Expertise translating  business requirements into architectural decisions , including Solution Blueprints, Architecture Decision Records, and reference architectures.
• Background in  M&A integration architecture — designing integration patterns, data consolidation strategies, and identity harmonization for acquired entities — preferred.
• Proficiency with  multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, SAFe) and the ability to apply the appropriate framework to the context of the initiative.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and  influence Architecture Review Boards , Technical Design sessions, and cross-functional engineering teams without direct authority.
• Strong analytical skills with experience independently conducting  discovery, stakeholder interviews, and current-state assessments to build target-state architectures.

• Security-First Mindset: Integrates cybersecurity and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA where applicable) into every layer of architecture from inception.
• Vendor & Partner Management: Experience evaluating, selecting, and governing technology vendors; able to navigate RFP processes and hold vendors accountable to architectural standards.
• Documentation Excellence: Produces high-quality technical documentation — blueprints, ADRs, data flow diagrams, and runbooks — that serve as durable organizational assets.
• Multitasking in Fast-Paced Environments: Manages multiple concurrent initiatives, shifting between strategic advisory and hands-on technical review as priorities demand.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s / Master's Degree — Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and demonstrated work experience in enterprise architecture.
