Service Supervisor

Position Purpose The Service Supervisor is responsible for supporting front-end operations to ensure a fast, friendly, and efficient customer experience. This role assists in overseeing cashiers, courtesy clerks, and service desk functions while maintaining compliance with company policies, cash handling procedures, and service standards. Key Responsibilities Customer Service Excellence Deliver and model outstanding customer service at all times Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally Promote a welcoming and positive store environment Front-End Operations Support daily front-end functions including registers, self-checkout, and service desk Ensure proper cash handling, till accountability, and accurate transactions Assist with opening, closing, and shift transitions Team Leadership Provide direction and support to cashiers and courtesy clerks Reinforce productivity, service expectations, and company standards Assist in training new employees on front-end processes and procedures Compliance & Accuracy Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and labor procedures Monitor ID checks and compliance for restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.) Maintain clean, organized, and operational front-end areas Operational Support Assist with breaks, lunches, and shift coverage Support store initiatives, promotions, and seasonal programs Communicate effectively with store leadership regarding front-end performance and issues Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math and cash handling experience Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods of time Lift and carry up to 25 lbs as needed Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the front-end area Key Competencies Customer Focus Team Leadership Attention to Detail Problem Solving Integrity & Accountability #J-18808-Ljbffr
