Work Environment As a part of our Bronx facility, you will work in a collaborative environment where team members are encouraged to share knowledge and support each other. Our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility is equipped with modern therapeutic tools and technology, allowing therapists to implement the most effective treatment plans. The schedule is structured from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a healthy work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients recovering from various orthopedic conditions, injuries, or surgeries. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modern equipment to relieve pain and improve mobility. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure that therapeutic goals are met efficiently and effectively. Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, treatment sessions, and outcomes, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards. Instruct patients and their families on the proper use of rehabilitative equipment and techniques to facilitate self-care and enhance recovery. Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, promoting knowledge sharing among team members, and contributing to a culture of ongoing education. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will focus primarily on patients with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-surgical patients, those recovering from sports-related injuries, and individuals experiencing chronic pain. You will work closely with a variety of age groups, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of each patient. By developing strong therapeutic relationships, you will guide patients toward their recovery goals, enhancing their overall quality of life. Qualifications A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New York. Strong verbal and written communication skills essential for effective patient interaction. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and standard office software. Demonstrated flexibility and creativity in adapting treatments to the individual needs of patients. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years’ experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, we welcome recent graduates as well. Experience in community-based practice or familiarity with home health settings would be an advantage. Compensation and Benefits The offered position comes with an annual salary ranging between USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
