Our organization is currently in search of a full-time Psychiatrist to join the medical center . Salisbury is nestled in the picturesque hills of North Carolina's Piedmont region, conveniently located near the Charlotte metropolitan area and Raleigh-Durham. • Standard hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
• On-call coverage is minimal, requiring phone calls only 10-12 days per year.
• Optional weekend inpatient coverage is available for additional compensation.
• EDRP Authorized: This role qualifies for the Education Debt Reduction Program , which assists with student loan repayment.
• Recruitment/Relocation Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): May be available for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Requirements:

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Possess a full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
• Hold a Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited medical or osteopathic program.
• Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veteran Affairs in a recognized core specialty training program, leading to board certification eligibility.
• U.S. Citizenship is required; non-citizens may only be considered if qualified citizens cannot be recruited, in accordance with VA policy.
• A minimum of 2 years of leadership and supervisory experience is necessary.

Compensation & Benefits Package:

• Salary: Competitive pay, annual performance bonuses, and regular salary increases.
• Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid leave annually, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid federal holidays, and a potential 5-day paid absence for CME.
