Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative assessments and care for patients following gynecological, urological, and general surgical procedures
• Perform and manage post-prostatectomy and post-hysterectomy care
• Administer and monitor pain management therapies including PCAs and epidurals
• Manage continuous bladder irrigation (CBI) and Foley catheter maintenance
• Deliver patient care within a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on an 18-bed Women's Surgical unit
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons and providers in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• GYN/Oncology and/or Urology nursing experience
• Medical/Surgical post-operative experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
