Position Title – Pack Operator

Shift Assignment – 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:30am)

$18.11/hr + $1.50 shift diff

Location – Shelbyville, Kentucky, USA

The Job:

As a Pack Operator, you’ll be part of our Shelbyville Manufacturing team working as an on-site employee. You’ll get to:

• Loads and unload blades at a productive rate, maintaining quality levels according to control plans, and using safe work ethics (PPE, MSDS and machine hazards).

• Visual quality inspection of each saw blade.

• Accurate updating of all move tags and piece counts.

• Responsible for identifying and communicating possible problems which may be perceived.

• Report any abnormal situations, including crashes, incorrect set-up, incorrect move tags or incorrect control plans.

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Basic knowledge of tolerance and quality inspection procedures

• Excellent hand-eye coordination in a fast-paced environment

• Reading control plans in English.

• Processing and recording data

• Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality

• Flexibility to work overtime
