Job Responsibilities Sweep aisles, keeping them clean throughout the day Clean parking lot, walkways, and grounds Empty trash cans Respond to spill and damage calls throughout the facility Sweep and vacuum dock plates and sanitation barriers Keep all areas free of debris such as wood fragments, pallet wrap, labels, and paper Discard leaking product and record on log Assist in special maintenance projects Job Requirements Understanding of safety guidelines Warehouse/Operations preferred but not required Ability to select at an established minimum rate for the department Understand and properly follow all selecting procedures and verbal instructions in your respective area: grocery, repack, cooler/freezer Possess an understanding of procedures in other areas of the warehouse for a more global understanding of all processes Must be able to lift 50 lbs Good judgment is required as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available UNFI is an Equal Opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all.
