LPN - Care for Women

divh2Licensed Practical Nurse/h2pPerforms duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act./ppContributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients./ppAdministers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy./ppMaintains the exam rooms and work environment./ppDocuments nursing care and activities./ppAssists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures./ppAssists with the training of other staff./ppAssists departmental assistant with clinical matters./ppEducation: High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse./ppExperience: Prefer at least 1-2 year experience in a clinical or physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable./ppLicensure/Certification: Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment./ppCompensation/Benefits: $18.80-$30.71/hr depending on previous work experience.
