Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on, skilled Maintenance Technician with strong industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience to support a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

This role is NOT entry-level. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently on 480V electrical systems, production machinery, and automated equipment, with strong troubleshooting ability across both mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns on production equipment
Maintain and repair 480V 3-phase electrical systems and control wiring
Diagnose issues with motors, sensors, relays, and automation components
Perform preventive maintenance on food production and packaging equipment
Support PLC-controlled equipment and automated packaging lines
Repair mechanical systems including belts, bearings, chains, pumps, and gear drives
Work on high-speed equipment such as form-fill-seal machines
Follow strict SQF, OSHA, and food safety standards
Minimize downtime and respond quickly to equipment failures

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (required)
Strong electrical troubleshooting experience (480V 3-phase required)
Solid mechanical aptitude with production equipment
Experience in food, beverage, pharma, or similar manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and automation equipment
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery
Strong ability to work independently in a production environment

Nice to Have

Experience with steam systems, boilers, or refrigeration systems
Prior work with high-speed packaging or form-fill-seal equipment
Technical or trade school training in electrical or industrial maintenance

Schedule & Opportunity

Day shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (may adjust slightly)
Temp-to-hire with long-term opportunity
Stable, established food manufacturing facility

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a true maintenance technician, not a general handyman. The right candidate will be confident troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical systems under pressure in a production environment.
