About the Team This role sits within Mammoth Brands’ Global Finance organization, spanning FP&A, Supply Chain Finance, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, and Strategy across North America, UK, and Germany. About the Role The Head of Strategic Finance is a new position on the finance leadership team, based in New York City, reporting directly to the CFO. The role partners on capital markets, financing, M&A, external investor positioning, Board material, and CEO-driven growth initiatives. What You Will Accomplish Capital Markets & Financing Support debt and equity financing activities, including equity raises and refinancing. Lead the execution of S‑1 drafting and IPO preparation as the company moves toward public readiness. Optimize leverage, liquidity, and interest‑rate exposure across the capital structure. Define and manage FX strategy to mitigate risk and support global operations. Manage investment banking relationships in partnership with the CFO. Own external‑facing positioning materials, including investor and management presentations. M&A Support Drive M&A execution support alongside the CFO and CGO. Support pro forma P&L, valuation, and balance‑sheet analysis for transactions. Lead inbound and reverse due diligence for strategic M&A and investor conversations. BOD & Executive Support Drive execution of Board of Directors and investor materials. Support accelerator analysis and related investment evaluation. Own capital‑structure optimization on an ongoing basis. Execute ad hoc growth and capitalization projects from the CEO. Own corporate development activities, evaluating partnership and JV opportunities with a financial and strategic lens. Qualifications Seasoned finance professional. 7‑10 years experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, with deep expertise in M&A execution, financial modeling, and transaction structuring. Wide‑ranging transaction experience is required. Experienced in capital markets. Hands‑on experience with equity raises, debt financings, and IPO preparation, including S‑1 drafting and external financing documents. Strong external communicator. Ownership of investor‑facing materials and ability to translate complex analysis into clear executive narratives. Trusted partner to senior leadership. Comfortable operating at the CFO and CEO level on a daily basis. Highly autonomous and accountable. Operates independently, spots gaps, preempts problems, and drives work from idea to execution without being asked. Strategic and deeply analytical. Sets strategy, secures buy‑in on big decisions, and delivers high‑quality results at speed. Creative problem‑solver with resilience. Navigates complex, ambiguous situations with calm focus, takes calculated risks, and builds new approaches. Direct and humble. In‑office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the SoHo headquarters. Key Collaborations Reporting directly to the CFO. Close partnership with the CEOs on growth and capitalization strategy. Regular collaboration with the Head of Corporate FP&A, Head of Accounting, Head of Tax, Chief Growth Officer, and Chiefs of Staff to the CEOs.
