Graduate Assistant

This Graduate Assistant position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Cheer and Dance programs as well as secondary responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director. A strong faith base and commitment to the mission of Greenville University are essential. This is a 12-month position. Requirements Graduate Assistant (GA) is students, not employee of the university. GA may not hold other on-campus employment. GA must be accepted and enrolled in a Greenville University graduate program. GA will maintain continuous enrollment in the degree program at all times. GA must maintain an accumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.0. GA will receive a stipend in addition to full tuition scholarship for a Greenville University graduate program. GA must be able to live and work in the USA. No Student Visa available. Responsibilities Coach Duties: administrative, practice, game, and competition preparation. Recruiting: coordinate recruiting activities including emails, phone calls, and letters; maintain the recruit database; and manage social media. Academics: monitor academic progress of players. Spiritual Development: assist/lead Bible studies and mentor players. Game Day Management: responsibilities as assigned by the Athletic Department. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and acceptance into a Graduate Program. Cheer and Dance experience. Preferred Qualifications Previous coaching experience. Dance technique/training/choreography.
