Capture Director (US Federal)

About the Role

The Federal Capture Director will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government. Due to federal security requirements, all personnel working on these contracts must be United States citizens (naturalized or native). The individual will lead and manage the entire capture process, from opportunity identification through proposal development and award, ensuring compliance with all federal contracting regulations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading the full capture lifecycle in a Federal market with a demonstrated track record of successful capture wins.
• Deep understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and related regulations.
• Expert-level knowledge of the federal procurement lifecycle and acquisition process.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, government customers, and potential partners.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
• Familiarity with sourcing tools such as BGov, GovWin, SAM, and other opportunity‑tracking platforms.
• Strong capability in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Google Workspace.
• Travel may be required for training, conferences, or client visits.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one).
• Membership in professional organizations related to government contracting (e.g., AFCEA).

Pay and Location

Primary Location: USA.MD.Home Office Washington DC Metro
Base Pay Range: $194,100 – $291,100 USD
