Job Summary:
The location is in San Francisco, California. This registered nurse position in the Endoscopy Lab requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves performing a variety of procedures within outpatient endoscopy centers and inpatient settings, with a focus on administering conscious sedation, airway management, and other specialized endoscopic skills. The position may require floating to other UCSF Endoscopy sites during the assignment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: CA Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand, BSN degree, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, minimum 2 years of experience with at least 1 year in outpatient endoscopy centers, and experience with EMR systems such as Epic.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or II experience, previous charge nurse experience, and outpatient/endoscopy center expertise.
• Float: Float rotation to other UCSF Endoscopy sites may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have completed references in hand at the time of submission, including two references from the most recent employer. Vaccinations required include COVID-19 (with booster) and flu vaccines. The role involves working in a fast-paced outpatient/endoscopy environment performing procedures such as colonoscopy, ERCP, endobronchial ultrasound, and more. Candidates are expected to be able to start on 08/18/2026 and must comply with any teaching hospital module requirements and RTO policies.
