Job Summary:
A registered nurse position is available in the Endoscopy Laboratory in San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care in outpatient endoscopy procedures, including administering sedation, managing airways, and supporting complex endoscopic interventions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Specialty: Endoscopy Lab
• Shift: 8 hours days, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required; California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with more than 1 year specifically in outpatient endoscopy center settings; previous charge experience preferred
• EMR: Epic electronic medical record system experience preferred
• Skills: Administering conscious sedation, airway management, use of balloon dilators and polypectomy snares, colonoscopy procedures, and management of dysrhythmias among others
• Schedule: 8-hour days with minimum 40 hours per week; start date: 08/18/2026
• Additional requirements: Completed references required at time of submission (two from most recent employer). Vaccinations including COVID-19 vaccine and booster are mandatory, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other UCSF Endoscopy sites within a 75+ mile radius.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
