Maintenance Technician

You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. Responsibilities: • Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs • Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed • Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks • Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made • Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical • Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule • Demonstrates superior customer service • Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed • Loading and unloading building materials and tools • Being compliant with all health and safety regulations • Following instructions and completing work orders online Qualifications: • Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures • Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent • Over 2 years of maintenance experience • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends • Superb attention to detail, work ethic, and communication skills • 2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferred • Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical • Ability to work independently and with other team members • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues • Desire to provide excellent customer service • A sense of pride in your work • Ability to communicate well with people • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license • Physical requirements include a frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects • Part of the on-call rotation • Must have own tools Compensation: $25 - $32 hourly
