Maintenance Controller

About the Role Jet Logistics Inc., an FAA-certificated air carrier based in Johns Island, SC, is seeking qualified individuals to join our Maintenance team as Maintenance Controller. This role assists the Director of Maintenance with managing and overseeing the Company’s aircraft maintenance program for Jet Logistics’ critical, time‑sensitive missions, including organ transport and medical logistics operations. Position Overview The Maintenance Controller assists the Director of Maintenance with the supervision of all maintenance, both scheduled and unscheduled, and any other maintenance needed, including cleaning, record keeping, tracking aircraft times and cycles, and covers duties as “Maintenance on Call” as a backup to the Director of Maintenance. Key Responsibilities Assists DOM with managing and overseeing the Company’s aircraft maintenance program Assists DOM with the supervision of all maintenance, both scheduled and unscheduled, and any other maintenance needed, including cleaning. Assists DOM with record keeping, including all Computerized Tracking updates and revisions Assists DOM with tracking aircraft times and cycles Covers duties as “Maintenance on Call” as a backup to the Director of Maintenance Orders parts for JLI aircraft when AOG and out of service Liaison with Operations to coordinate out‑of‑service time for scheduled inspections Assist with maintaining training records (Electronic and hard copies) Assist DOM with forecasting scheduled maintenance, aircraft conformity preparations, and keeping Operations Specifications current and accurate Any other duties delegated to him/her by the Director of Maintenance Qualifications FAA‑issued Airframe and Powerplant License strongly preferred Excellent PC skills and proficiency; knowledge of Veryon and Jet Insight (preferred) Excellent customer service skills, using tact and professionalism appropriate requiring good oral and written communication skills Flexibility in a rapidly changing organization Must be able to commute to the office located in JZI Compensation & Schedule Full‑time position $65k‑80k based on experience & qualifications Shift‑based schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays as needed) – weekend availability is required, with flexible scheduling options (fixed Thurs‑Mon shift or rotating weekend coverage) Benefits 401(k) Dental insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Location & Requirements Johns Island, SC (Hybrid – remote and office role) Valid driver’s license Accept a background check Authorized to work in the United States Accept a drug test #J-18808-Ljbffr
