Associate Vice President of HR Operations

The client seeks an Associate Vice President of HR Operations, a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic development and management of the organization’s total rewards programs. This includes Compensation, Benefits, HR systems, the Employee Service Center, and employee health and wellness. The position supports the client’s mission by ensuring high-quality employee practices and systemic rewards that help attract, retain, engage, and support healthcare professionals while enabling seamless integration with HR technology platforms. The role will be expected to align HR operations with business strategy and culture, and to lead change initiatives involving organizational transformation and system implementations. Strong communication skills are required to translate complex HR and rewards information into clear messaging for diverse stakeholders. The position also requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex HR challenges, including operational improvements that support effective and consistent employee experiences. Qualifications include a master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, and at least 10 years of total rewards experience across compensation, benefits, and ERP in a leadership capacity. Healthcare industry experience is required, preferably in community health settings. Demonstrated experience leading compensation transformation—including redesigning job architecture, salary structure, and career framework development—is expected, along with expertise in HR technology platforms, digital automation, data analytics, and employee self-service solutions.
