About the Role The Account Executive is the strategic lead for a portfolio of client accounts, responsible for building strong client relationships, developing marketing strategy, and driving results. This role connects client goals to clear marketing plans, leads quarterly planning, and uses performance data to guide decisions and identify opportunities for growth. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Specialist and Creative Designer who handle much of the day-to-day execution. Your role is to provide the strategy, direction, and context they need to do their best work while keeping clients informed, engaged, and confident in the work we’re doing together. What You'll Do Own the overall marketing strategy and direction for a portfolio of client accounts Develop full-funnel B2B and B2C strategies based on client goals, audiences, and business needs Translate business objectives into clear marketing priorities and actionable plans Stay close to client businesses, industries, audiences, and competitive landscapes Drive Quarterly Planning Lead quarterly strategy and planning Establish priorities, campaigns, initiatives, and measurable goals Turn strategy into clear direction for internal specialists Continuously evaluate what’s working and adjust priorities as needed Lead Client Relationships Lead client calls and serve as a trusted strategic advisor Communicate recommendations, performance, and next steps with confidence and clarity Manage expectations, priorities, and difficult conversations when needed Build relationships that lead to continuing long-term partnerships, retention, and growth Own Performance & Reporting Own the strategic narrative behind client reporting Analyze performance across channels and identify meaningful insights Connect marketing activity to business outcomes Recommend changes based on performance, opportunities, and challenges Lead Internal Specialists Provide strategic direction, context, and clear briefs to Marketing Content and Marketing Automation Specialists Prioritize work and help teams stay focused on the highest-impact initiatives Review work for strategic alignment and quality Remove roadblocks, provide feedback, and hold work accountable to the plan Look for opportunities to expand the impact of marketing within existing accounts Proactively recommend new strategies, campaigns, and initiatives Understand where marketing can contribute to client growth beyond the immediate scope of work What We're Looking For We’re looking for a strategic marketer and confident client leader with: 5+ years of experience in digital, integrated, or growth marketing Experience managing client accounts and leading client-facing strategy Strong understanding of full-funnel B2B and B2C marketing Experience developing marketing strategies and translating them into actionable plans Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into clear recommendations Experience managing projects and coordinating work across multiple people or disciplines The ability to lead, delegate, and provide direction without needing to own every execution detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Confidence presenting recommendations and navigating challenging client conversations A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a high level of ownership You’ll Stand Out If You Have Agency experience managing multiple accounts A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent practical experience. Experience working across paid media, content, SEO, email/marketing automation, and websites Experience with GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, CRM or marketing automation platforms, and reporting tools Experience working with both B2B and B2C audiences Experience managing or mentoring marketers A strong understanding of marketing metrics such as CAC, CPL, ROAS, conversion rates, pipeline, and revenue #J-18808-Ljbffr Manifest Digital Solutions
