Overview
Registered Nurse, PCU in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date: 09/08/2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Pay: $1,870–$1,975 per week. Shift: 2x3 Days. Setting: hospital-based travel assignment in a PCU/IMCU with a cardiac population.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in a PCU/IMCU with cardiac diagnoses, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and CP presentations.
- Monitor hemodynamics and telemetry, recognize changes in patient condition, and intervene per protocol and physician orders.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, vasopressors), and assess patient response.
- Maintain a 1:3 to 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, document assessments and interventions, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Provide patient and family education, ensure safety and infection control standards, and respond to cardiac emergencies as needed.
- May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower-acuity patients; adapt to unit needs while maintaining quality of care.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse (RN) license; state requirements apply to the assignment
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum documented PCU/telemetry experience with cardiac population; at least 2 years in a facility of similar size
- Experience with STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, CP; familiarity with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine) and vasopressors
- Comfortable working in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU with cardiac patients and telemetry monitoring
- Ability to work the stated shift and meet guaranteed hours in a hospital setting
