Interventional Pain Physician

Join an established outpatient pain management team in the Venice and Sarasota area as a full-time Interventional Pain Physician. This employed role offers the opportunity to work within a comprehensive, patient-focused practice utilizing cutting-edge technology across multiple clinics and an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The position emphasizes advanced interventional procedures and offers an equity partnership track.

Practice Info

• Established outpatient pain management team
• Serving multiple clinics and an ASC in Sarasota and Venice area
• Comprehensive, patient-focused pain practice
• Utilizes cutting-edge technology
• CRNA in each room

Responsibilities

• Perform 35 procedure days per week
• Perform procedures including Cranial branch, nerve blocks, RF, kyphoplasty, SI joint fusion, etc.
• Perform procedures in ASC and in-office settings

Compensation

• $500K base with production
• Extra pay on days 4 and 5 - minimum $1,000 extra a day with additional compensation
• Compensation: depends on credentials and experience but notionally $500K/a base with bonuses for more than 3 Procedure Days in the OR per week
• Equity partnership track available

Requirements

• MD or DO in Anesthesiology or Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• ACGME accredited Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine
• Board certified in Pain (ABIPP or ABPM)
• 5 years of experience in outpatient setting (doing Clinic and Surgical Procedures)
• Willingness to relocate to either Venice or Sarasota FL
• Active, unrestricted Medical License and DEA in Florida, or willingness to obtain
• Current BLS/ACLS certifications
