Supplier Quality CoordinatorThe Supplier Quality Coordinator assists the Quality team by promptly resolving supplier issues and serves as a key point of communication between suppliers and internal quality functions. Responsibilities include maintaining supplier records, certifications, and various databases such as supplier contacts, specification libraries, and material qualification software. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Works with Supplier Quality Manager on supplier rejection resolutionPerforms on-site audits of suppliersMaintenance and record-keeping of current supplier profiles and certificationsMaintains internal libraries of industry specificationsUpdates material qualification software for new revisions of industry specificationsMonthly tracking and reporting of goods on quality holdMaintenance of relevant contact dataProduction and distribution of performance reportsCompletes Customer SurveysRequirements:Knowledge of ISO and AS Quality System Standards preferredPossess strong knowledge of quality management system and quality control techniquesStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including charts and graphingWillingness to learn proprietary computer program, known as MetalwareAbility to handle multiple tasksEffective communication skills, both written and verbalTravel Required: Yes. As needed for business Qualifications Education: High School or better in Business or related field.
